Artist alley people help me plz

Mon Jul 28, 2008, 8:13 PM
Hey all I got an artist mailing list bulletin from Anime LA because I want to do artists' alley there this year, and they said you need to make sure you have a "California Reseller's Permit", but I couldn't find that form on the california BoE page, only "Seller Permit" and "Resale Permit".  Resale permit doesn't look right because it had places for the original vendor you got stuff from that doesn't make sense with the type of business we'd be doing.  So I think they meant the Seller's Permit, but I don't know how to find out.  Can anyone shed some light on this?

Dur I think that is a typo. Mind you I've only attended the same con several times so maybe it's different? I suggest you email the coordinator and ask. :]

Ok, I was thinking about that but I didn't want to wait a long time in case they were busy and stuff :(

No clue, I've never done an Artist Alley in California. :o

No. :o

I've looked into doing one at Baltimore Comic Con, and a couple of other smaller conventions in Maryland. I don't think a permit is required there, but it may be different in California.

Ah, thought maybe the form names would be similar except for the state name. Thanks though!
